Water & Clay - Where Living Water Meets Breathing Clay
BRING IT TO THE POTTER
Jeremiah 18:3–4
"So I went down to the Potter’s house, and there He was working at His wheel. But the pot He was shaping from the clay was marred in His hands; so the Potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to Him."
There’s something beautiful about how the Potter doesn’t throw the clay away when it’s disfigured. He doesn’t give up, but instead He reshapes. The same hands that formed us are the hands that make us new again.
When we come to God in prayer, it’s like stepping back onto the wheel. Bringing Him our brokenness, questions, and even the pieces we don’t understand.
In Japan, there’s an art called kintsugi, where broken pottery is repaired with gold. The cracks don’t disappear. They’re filled and sealed, becoming the most beautiful part of the piece.
Prayer isn’t about saying the words that are perfect; it’s about being held in His hands, trusting that He knows how to make something whole again with the parts of us that turned into pieces.
That’s what God does with us. He doesn’t erase our brokenness; He redeems it, turning what once hurt into a testimony of His grace.
If you need prayer, we’d love to stand with you. Whether it’s a whisper of hope, a prayer for strength, or something you can’t quite put into words yet, here is that space to lay it down and get back on the wheel.
Our team reads every request and prays over them with care, as if they were our own.
Every broken place becomes part of the story. His grace fills the cracked places, and in His hands, even what’s marred is made beautiful.
Bring your prayers to the Potter, the One who never stops shaping.
